I have received the official Abstract of Votes for the City of Staunton from the April 4,
2023 Consolidated Election. A total of 295 voters came out to vote for the four open
Aldermanic positions.
Governor Pritzker has signed a new Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation extending the statewide declaration through Thursday, May 11, 2023, however, this will be the final Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation that will be issued by the Governor regarding COVID-19.

Motion to approve request from the Staunton Chamber of Commerce to close Main Street from Edwardsville Street to Union Street on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 8:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. for a Touch-A-Truck Event
Motion to approve spending $21,475.00 for in car cameras from Axon Enterprise, Inc., for the Staunton Police Department, previously budgeted for $20,000.00
Motion to approve purchase of two 2023 Dodge Charger police cars at a cost of $39,207.26 per car. These had previously been approved at the September 26, 2022 City Council Meeting for $38,705.00 per car.
Park & Civic Improvement - Tipler (7:25– 7:30)
Motion to spend up to $2,000.00 for Yard of the Week expenses
Motion to approve Quote from Sloan Implement Co. for a new John Deere 1023E
Mower in the amount of $12,512.42 (includes trade-in and Sourcewell Contract
Price)

Motion authorizing Mayor Neuhaus to sign Engagement Letter with C. J. Schlosser & Company, LLC confirming services for the City Audit for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2023. The fee for audit services this year will be $9,385.00.

Motion to accept Quote #1068 from Neuhaus Heating & A/C, Inc. for furnace and
air conditioner replacement at the Public Works Building in the amount of
$17,394.55. After completion of the job, the City should receive an Ameren
incentive in the amount of $3,600.00.
