Petitions packets for the April 4, 2023 Consolidated Election are being accepted at the City Clerk’s Office through December 19, 2022, which is the filing deadline. The City Clerk’s Office will be open until 5:00 P.M. on the final filing day.


The City Clerk’s Office, along with all public works employees except for one water treatment plant operator, will be off on Friday, December 23rd and Monday December 26th for the Christmas holidays.


Governor Pritzker has signed a new Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamation extending the statewide declaration through January 6, 2023, which means that public meetings may continue to be held remotely.

Motion to approve Full Time Placement List compiled by the Police Commission from recent interviews, to be good for six months


Motion to approve Quote from Southwest Solutions Group for detention bench for the Police Department at a cost of $1,799.99


Park & Civic Improvement - Tipler (7:25– 7:30)

Motion to pay Invoice #411 to Christmas Décor Systems for Main Street

Christmas decorations in the amount of $3,500.00


Motion to pay Invoice #2886 to Laughlin Electric, Inc. for lighting repair labor

and ballasts at the Soccer Fields in the amount of $5,535.00. $1,763.00 will be

paid from Line Item #17.51.895.0 and the balance of $3,772.00 will be paid from

Line Item #17.51.891.0.
