I. CALL TO ORDER:
Mayor Craig Neuhaus called the Staunton City Council Meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. on Monday, July 23, 2018

Octoberfest, which will be held on October 6 and 7, 2018. They are asking to have the license fee waived for the event.
Received a letter from Julie Jarman, Director of Staunton Public Library requesting to use the court yard area in front of the band stand at City Hall on Friday, August 17, 2018 for a 105th Birthday Party Celebration. They will be celebrating the 105th year as a City Library.

XI. NEW BUSINESS-
On behalf of the entire City Council, Mayor Neuhaus thanked two employees for their many years of service to the City of Staunton. Recently, City Hall Emplyee Cindy Broderick left after 24 years and 5 months of service, and Police Officer Mike Mertz retired after 11 years and 5 months of service. Mayor Neuhaus wished them both the best for their future plans.
